FINDING PLEASURES IN THE SIMPLE THINGS

Stir-Fried Chicken with Unagi Sauce

I had a bottle of unagi sauce in my pantry that was going to expire soon but I had no unagi to use it on. Hence, I decided to stir-fry some chicken with it. The dish was so simple to make and turned out really tasty. We ate it with rice and made hand roll sushi with it.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced ΒΌ-inch-wide strips
1 bottle (8.81 oz) Shirakiku Unagi Sauce

Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until just smoking. Add the chicken and stir-fry it for 1 to 2 minutes and then, add the bottle of sauce. Continue to stir-fry the chicken until it is cooked through. Serve hot with rice or cool to use in sushi.
